Dress Code for the 2023 – 2024 School Year

Approved Uniform Tops: 

• Black or gray Kinder GOLD shirts uniform shirts are available at our online store. www.kinderelementary.store

• Grade-Level Colored shirts are available on our school online store: www.kinderelementary.store

  • Note: Grade-level colored shirts are to be worn on Wednesdays and other special events noted.

• Solid navy blue or white (short or long-sleeved) shirts with no emblem, logo, or decoration are to be worn.

• Navy, black, and khaki dresses are approved.

Approved Uniform Bottoms: 

• Blue jeans, khaki, navy, or black bottoms 

  • Pants, shorts, jumpers, and skirts that are NOT tattered, torn, ripped with holes, have cargo pockets, or are shorter than 4 inches above the knee.

  • There must be a hem on the bottom of all pants

Approved Outerwear:

• KES School Outerwear is available on the online store www.kinderelementary.store 

• All jackets worn inside the building must be unbuttoned or unzipped completely.

• LABEL all students belongings

Approved Shoes:

• Appropriate shoes, such as leather or canvas tennis shoes, and loafers are acceptable. No shower shoes can be worn. 
• Recommended that students' toes and heels be covered.

Hair:

• No extremes in hairstyle or hair colors. 
• Hair shall be neat and combed. 
• Hair shall not cover students’ eyes at any time. 

Uniform Requirements

Student dress and grooming are not to adversely affect the student’s participation in classes, school programs, or other school-related activities or detract from the learning environment of the school.  Extremes in style and fit in student dress and extremes in style of grooming will not be permitted. 

No student shall wear, possess, use, distribute, display, or sell any clothing, jewelry, emblem, blade, symbols, sign, or other things which are evidence of affiliation with drugs, alcohol, violence, or gang-related activities or exhibits profane or obscene language/gestures.
